ITV1 Cock-up

They just advertised Footballers Wives extra time using to old ITV1 logo and graphics - oops!

Yeah, escaped me for a moment then I realised it was the old slide and old promotion!

lol yeah I was like woops!, on that Subject though UKTV G2 played the wrong sting last night for Red Dwarf it had a shot of Rimmer and Lister with the old [UK] Gold logo, not sure if it was on the VT and they forgot to cut it or something.

I wish we could have had a shot hehe!! Anyone really lucky and have one?

If it's the thing that bookend the ad breaks, then I think t hey are on the tapes. I've seen them pop up quite often, before the proper logo abruptly cuts in.

Why? It looked the same as it would have done in the same junction last week

true lol .but i mean just to catch ITV out when they are supposed to have the new look

yeah it was them.

So presumebly, two versions were made, one for last week, one for this week, and somebody chose and played out the wrong version.

What is the need for any company to keep old presentation material on any system once they rebrand?

Surely if they don't have them, they can't play them out.

Though it doesn't stop them from making supid mistakes, like on ITV3 moments ago going back into a film with a slide that said 'Back Soon'.

Easy mistake to make - anyone know what ITV Wales had because they dont show Footballers Wives. Did they get an old or new coming next slide for the regional programme?

Isn't that the slide they used to use on ITV Nightime when there were no ads in a particular region?

this also happened yesterday during GMTV, a promo for that new drama with that Lucy Jo Wotsit (from Corrie) when the 4 boxes appeared across the screen and then all formed at the end with the old logo, i did have a little chuckle, I thought things had all gone so smoothly!
