ITV1 breaking into films for News: tonight in Jurassic Park

I have been watching ITV1's movie Jurassic Park this afternoon which has now been spoilt by the insertion of an ITV News bulletin at 18:00 until 18:15.

There was NO announcement at the end of the 17:55 part stating that the film was continuing after the news.

The ITV regional news was broadcast at 16:25 and the national news at 18:00 - why the difference? Nearly on all Saturday's BOTH bulletins are together in the schedule! Would it have been best for ITV to continue the film until 19:00 and then have a 15 minute news bulletin or is it best not to schedule films in this slot?

This happened last week as well, I dont know why there is any need to interupt the film to show the news, couldnt they have the news either before or after the film. The regional news being on so early doesnt work either as a lot of the sports results wont have come in.

Next week however it looks like this wont happen as the regional news/itv news is scheduled from 5.05pm with the film from 5.35pm.
