I noticed last night that ITV1 is to show a season of I think all 20 of the James Bond films starting tomorrow night with 'Die Another Day'.
The trailer was quite impressive actually and I like the tag line 'All the Bonds in One Place'. Juding by that, it does look as though all of the Bond films will be shown.
It looks as though also maybe ITV1 are showing the Bonds starting from the latest first and work there way down to the first Bond film 'Dr No', as next Friday they are showing 'The World Is Not Enough'.
Overall, a great season coming up. This is probably why ITV haven't been showing many of the Bond films recently. They are sure making up for it now Laughing

Dont they do this every couple of years?? I remember the first time it happened in about 1998, every Wednesday at 8pm, then I think they did it again on Tuesday nights possibly during 2001/2 maybe? All I know is once the Frost / Morse repeats dry up they shove these on instead! Rolling Eyes

Funny you should say that ITV have old copies, someone mentioned on here a couple of years ago, that when ITV showed a very old Bond film, the Subtitles at the end were credited to Oracle! (As Subtitles are usually credited to Intelfax on ITV)

Showing them in reverse order is a bit odd is it not ?

Shouldn't they be shown in chronological order, especially as some bad guys re-occur ie. that Jaws character.

If I remember correctly the one on tonight only premiered a few months ago as well. I'm not sure we'll see some of the really old ones going out in prime time slots, they're more suited to Bank Holiday afternoons.

I agree, even though they would fair well on a Friday night as there isn't much competition. According to Bex? Oh please. Rolling Eyes

ABC tried this a couple years ago in place of their regular Saturday night movies. ABC at this point called movies "Big Picture Shows", but was only seen on screen and never spoken. The named the Bond movies the "Bond Picture Show".

It didn't last too long.

Dead ringers did a joke about M giving bond a mission to kill david jason, So they would have complete bond on ITV1

The've done them from start to end, now the end to start

Here's an idea ITV why not try making a new series of 'TV Burp' instead?????

It be better if Trevor was dropped from Fridays to allow them to screen them from 8-10.30pm - rather than having half an hour after the news.
