Prefered the ident going into This Morning to the first one on ITV1 - it seemed a bit warmer. I also took the opportunity to watch it on ITV1 Wales, which now appears to have the same announcement as England (no verbal mention of Wales).
The word 'Wales' appears in white, centered below the 'itv', and is about half the length of the yellow block.
Incidentally, old credit style at the end of Jeremy Kyle and still a Granada endcap.

The new branding will be rolled out gradually to minimise cost of change so programmes already delivered will not have to be re-edited. However, there might be exceptions on some key programming. These will be decided on an individual basis.
The intention is to have Coronation Street, Emmerdale, This Morning and Today with Des and Mel ITV Productions branded when the new ITV channel brand launches.
So far I've seen new idents on ITV1 and ITV3, and I'm really impressed - it looks like a really classy relaunch.
I see that ITV Day is no more (apologies if that was announced ages ago!). I always quite liked that branding, but now I guess it makes sense just to unite all the output with a single, strong identity.
I still don't see why there couldn't be a set of ITV1 branded idents for exclusive use during the day?
They wouldn't have to feature the word 'day' but still use ITV1 branding but would feature similar things to the previous ITV Day idents but only used throughout the day.
Re the voice-overs on the ITV1Wales idents:- it's seems that it is the same artist voicing the idents but after listening to the video posted above of the 10:30 ident into This Morning it seems that it was pre-recorded as she said a similar intro but not an exact copy of what I heard on ITV1Wales at the 10:30 ident.
I wonder if they will use live announcements common to the ITV1 and ITV1Wales feed at the same time?
PS here we go for the first proper look at the regional news studios!
