At least we have got away from the "West Country" that used to appear following the ITV plc merger Shocked

Radion Times (online) lists it as ITV1 Calton West Country Rolling Eyes

Out of the current ITV1 idents, does anyone have a particular favourite (or one they dislike least)?, also one they hate everytime they see it?

The best is the garage door one & the sad one I think. What I don't understand however is why all the idents feature multiple scenes apart from the one with that guy stood waiting for somebody.

The one criticism I have of them all is that I seem to always see the same three, and often before the same programme. Every time Corrie is on it's always that tree hugging one.

I like that one with the kids jumping out of a box. Quite an upbeat tune to start the evening with, often seems to be used at 7pm.

The 'nee-naw nee-naw' strange man one I dislike

What does the sad one look like, I don't think I've seen it?

Wasn't the whole point of the rebrand, was so that the channel's identity reflected the type of programmeing on offer. The different types of emotion ident reflect the content of the programme, so you are likely to see the same idents before a programme like Coronation Street.

I'm sure I spotted a new production slate last night.

It featured the blue bands from the end credits with a huge [itv¦ ¦1] logo on the bottom!

This ties in with the channel brand a bit more than that awful white offering!
