ITV1/2/3 Rebranding

Already mentioned this in the UTV thread but I thought I'd mention it in here for those of you who don't read it. UTV have tonight aired a new ECP menu style:

The yellow bars that can be seen in the background animate in the same way as the programme promotions, sliding in from the left.

i think its quite nice. i was actually thinking yesterday if they were going to change it

It looks quite nice, they made a bit more effort.

Apart from Wales & Channel has anyone seen any regional idents yet?

Tyne Tees had one last week. Haven't watched since.

I saw a Westcountry version yesterday, the word Westcountry was written in a tiny point size under the ITV logo At least in the old idents is was large, most people wouldn't even notice it now.

anybody notice you can see the crew reflected in the black car in that ident?

I just watched it again eeek.. Though the way it's film you won't notice till you slow it down.

I am certain that I don't like the ITV1 idents (normally) but the one they show before the news is growing on me (perhaps it's because I like the new ITV News ident/logo/presentation).

I still hope they are going to change the rest of ITV1's to make it as good a quality as ITV2/3.........but if anyone from ITV plc is listening, then keep the music you use for the ident for the one before the news (I think it's called "happy" or something like that.

I noticed that too, you could barely see the word "westcountry", makes you wonder why they bother. At least we have got away from the "West Country" that used to appear following the ITV plc merger

on trailers the text is far to small to read for the time an when!
