I'm slightly confused over UTV's Idents, is that in 16:9? ^ ^ Because if that is there's no doubt that logo would cut off. Exclamation

The bar to the right of the logo represents a closed bracket. This bracket device opens up in order to encapsulate the emotion occuring within the VT. This specifies that these are the emotive responses you can expect from ITV....least that's my take on it...anyone else? Wink

Yes, when watching on 4:3 you can only see UT and part of the V. Bit silly but it looks nice in widescreen!

No, the movie that was on last night didn't have one and the old ITV logo on the Motorola sponsor sting had just been replaced with "ITV Movies Sponsor" in the corporate font. This was also the same with the sport on Monday night. It too didn't have a sting and the old logo on the sponsor sting had just been replaced with text.

Not too sure about the drama one, I haven't seen any since the rebrand on Monday.

Thanks, I did see an ITV 1 Movies logo on a trail the other day, the Movies was in white and in the medium font, as opposed to ITV 4 Movies which is in the teal colour in the Light font...

The "expanded" logo is meant to be "framing an emotion". I think it's a load of rubbish, personally. Razz

Sounds a bit like the Powergen weather sponsor credits which now just have 'ITV NATIONAL WEATHER' in the corporate font. I don't see why they can't use the new logo on them.

This just shows that despite the rebranding, itv's presentation is still a mess.

Can't say for ITV1, but there is an ITV2 Movies sting which looks quite nice.

I don't have time to read the thread and i think this may have been mentioned .Is there a special news ident.If there is a serious story it seems inappropriate to use some of the new idents before the news.

I must admit i quite like the style of them.Much better than the others and the celeb ones.
