Am I the only one that actuly like these?
There is alot more effort put into it than just filming scenes from found the country... they have had some thought put into them.
And just to annoy everyone up here in the Scottish region, the first ident they played at 9.25am when the fresh new look launched down south was... the Bryan Burnett one (from Scottish Passport which stopped a couple of years back).
Yes......he was ditched from SMG about 2 years ago.....it would have been nice to see something like UTV have now up here.........it will have to come!!

Much better than what they came up with after they ditched the celebs. Although I did spot the big blue breakbumber before Make Me Perfect, it had a recorded message warning viewers about the programmes content.
The blueredyellow logo doesn't look great, but you can tell they put some thought in to what they were doing.

No I actually like them as well. I especially like the fact that the scene changes from night to day and back to night again as the ident progresses. Well done to UTV for a change, its about time all the slagging stopped!
Note that "ITV/HTV West" get it's local weather back after God knows how many years. And poor old Bob Crampton is our forecaster. No more sponsers either!

ITV news and itv 2 websites still untouched except itv 2 has a new logo but elements of the old look still remain. i would have thought it would have been sorted by now
Good for UTV that they have adopted a new look...pity then its so much like the old. And why does something about that breakbumper remind me of the Global logo (it shouldn't though...)
Since when has has Channel Television gone down the ITV plc route - I noticed the ident preceeding that Channel Report read "ITV1 Channel" while the programme titles said "ITV Channel Report"...looks like independence doesn't mean regional identity is being preserved. Has the "Heart of the Islands" logo been ditched then?
