Is it me or does the new Regions Titles remind me of the News 24 Tonight titles? The studio for Meridain News (Newbury) does not look right - one part of the studio is the old blue and looks very up-market and the other it that ITV4 green. The graphics are OK but would be more suited to a news channel.
I haven't seen an ITV1 ident yet but they look alright - a bit continental.
I saw an ITV2 ident at 4.00 - it looked really cool. The music reminded me of the old Black and Yellow look.
I haven't seen an ITV3 ident yet but it looks like they are aiming at BBC4's audience.
The blue used on the ITV website it really modern and looks good. Also is it me or does the ITV font look almost identical to the Channel 4 Font?(I do know they are made by the same people - I just expected it to look a bit different.)

Also the announcer has ... her 'feline friend!'
Didn't Mrs Slocombe have one of those?

IMO, now that I've seen them, the ITV1 ident is warm, lacks are main theme if you get what I mean and I hate the way the logo doesn't form up, ITV2 is cool, ITV3 slightly boring, looks like they want to target a mature audience.
EDIT: Is it me or does ITV1's Idents remind me of nivea adverts?

I'll have more captures from Calendar in the Y&L thread but here's some tasters

Is this plasma image something Calendar have knocked together themselves?

Nice address slide here, particularly the e-mail address!

Well admittedly I've not seen anything properly onscreen yet so I'm only really going by the caps and what I see on my tiny B+W TV but ITV1's certainly seem...well dull. The logo doesn't really do anything but as pointed out the previous breakbumper acts as a little animation - shame about the fact there's a split second of black inbetween! Maybe they could get it to fade from one to the other, making it seem a little more seamless. However the font, breakbumper, trails and Next slides look great.
Disappointed by the lack of news ident - even if it had just been an extension of the breakbumper. Suitability will certainly come into it - should the top story of the news be a man decapitated by a garage door, would it really be appropriate to show the granny/kid/pleased man/tongue kid/garage man ident? A little extreme maybe but the point is there!
Pleased the ITV Day branding has gone - that was probably the first thing Red Bee suggested. After all when you're constantly competing in a multi-channel world, having no ITV1 branding for over half of the day probably isn't a good idea.
The idents themselves, I'm not sure about. There's something very fresh and bright about most of them but with no real form-up or tune they just look like stock videos with a logo stuck on. Hardly visually stunning.
ITV2's is certainly impressive and hits the target audience perfectly. They're bright and busy and look well produced. Again, if the logo could be doing something that would have rounded it off. ITV3's seem pretty quiet but nicely shot. Nothing special but good enough I guess.
Praise really for ITV News. Whoever decided to bring back the atrium shot deserves a pay rise. A lovely view and beats daytime squares and constant blue. The whole package has a much more professional look - titles (not sure about the people walking over the clock though!), astons, set, music, right down to the great touch on the ITN endcap. Mary just mentioned their "new look" just now but didn't introduce the 10.30pm programme as the "Nightly News". The lack of programme names seems a mistake too as they'd be so easily incorporated into the title logo.
And a lovely "Winter" trailer just now - it's not just the Beeb who can produce good ones!

Are we supposed to be inside Big Ben looking out?
Could be - that's a novel idea!!!
But how can you be looking from inside a huge bell? Unless you have X-Ray vision!
Meanwhile, from what little I've seen of ITV1/2/3's new look ... I liking it so far.

I think the snail mail address is of more note, referring to "104 Kirkstall Road" rather than "Yorkshire Television"
