ITV1/2/3 Rebranding

Forgot to add that I don't think ITV1 now has a general ident to use before the news. The idents before the 10.55 and 11.55 summaries were definately standard idents, and I don't recall it being different at 12.30.


Shame - I always felt that especially in the celebrity era having a seperate ident to use into news programmes was an advantage.

Presumably because it's not always appropriate to precede a news bulletin with jolly, smiling people. One would have hoped broadcasters would have learnt from BBC One's bouncing puddings introducing reports on hundreds of thousands dying in the tsunami.

i'm sure for major disasters there will be a suitable ident.

Why is it taking so long for them to update the itv 2 website. the itv news website still has the 4 squares on it. even the itn website has updated the picture for the itv news group.
