What a complete shambles tonights schedule is in. Aside from the continuing Bond fascination, and the last Rock Around The Block, how dare they broadcast an edition of Who Wants to be a Millionaire (Celebrity special) first shown earlier in the year. Rolling Eyes

Why can't they? BBC1 often show repeats of Celebrity Weakest Link

Different time slot.

Things should improve when X Factor starts in 2 weeks.

The X-Factor? That's Pop Idol with a different name isn't it?

X Factor was open to people of all ages over 16 but Pop Idol was limited to the ages of 16-24. Pop Idol was looking for 1 solo singer but X Factor's winner could be a solo singer or a group.

But the format of the show is pretty much the same with auditions up until the final 9 or 10 are chosen by the judges, then live shows where the viewers vote 1 act off each week until there is a winner. However last time there was a twist where 2 acts who got the lowest votes had to sing again and then the judges decided who was going home.

Thornton is presenting again this year, she also presented the ITV2 series of Pop Idol.

I said things would improve because X Factor was very popular with the viewers which is the type of show ITV want for a Saturday night, and its certainly better than a certain quiz show which has long since had its day.
