STV have just confirmed that Scotland Tonight is getting pulled tonight. I'm guessing this is cause of all the problems.

How does a broadcast problem which now seems to be fixed stop STV producing Scotland Tonight?

More importantly, how does Scotland Tonight getting pulled knock channels around the country, on satellite and cable, off air?

ITV seem to have neglected to update the EPG on DTT at least.

Quote:
Road to Referendum
In part one of a brand new three-part series, Iain Macwhirter examines the social, cultural and political changes that have taken Scotland from being at the heart of the union in 1945 to today, preparing for a referendum on independence. Elaine C Smith, Donald Findlay QC, George Galloway MP, Jim Sillars, Margo MacDonald MSP, actor Bill Paterson, Tam Dalyell and author William McIlvanney are some of those who recall the huge upheaval that Scotland underwent in the 50s and 60s.

Today on STV from 20:00 to 21:00

Nope, Road to Referendum never got shown, we'll it wasn't on when I turned over at 8pm.

And of course Southern Scotland wouldn't have got to see it in any case, as Border were taking the network offering.

Not sure what to make of the extra showing. Good to be reactive I guess but the majority of the audience won't be aware of the late repeat.

Still, in reality it's only really for Sky viewers without on-demand.

Although arguably the two repeat showings on ITV2 tomorrow serve that purpose just as well

What this has highlighted, is that Virgin Media seem to source their feeds of ITV from Astra 28.2, and not
as some would believe directly from ITV/STV/UTV. I suspect the same applies to BBC, 4 and 5 ?
