That the generic end of part caption, should they need one at short notice or the appropriate programme name caption having not been made for whatever reason. The other end of the break will say "welcome back".

Funny, I always thought that set of idents was very bland. Just some squares flying around with a boring blue background and the most forgettable, wishy-washy music ever heard on an ident (with the possible exception of the current ITV1 jingle). Considering this came five years after Carlton's heart idents, it was a pretty poor effort.

i did like the look of the YTV chevron used in 1998 especially the full version animation. does anyone agree

Yes i agree i especially liked the evening version.The YTV regional idents that were produced back in 2000 were excellent also.

I'm sure someone hear postage a clip of STV test thing and it had the 1986 log on in the year 2000, so I think ITV are just slow to get around!

Is anyone else having trouble with there television signal coming from Emley Moor and relay transmitters, I have phoned people around me and there having the same problem :
