Yeah I notice this as well, it seems they playout the original ident set overnight. And when I was watching ITV1 Wales they seem to use the original regional ident with the tiny letters (it was Lake) when showing regional programmes. (Not just network progs overlayed with Wales)


But did you notice that it had the small 'Wales' text underneath the smaller ITV logo but also the larger 'Wales' text nearer the both of the screen - were both superimposed at the same time?

They didn't actually have that when I had a look, seems to be a cock up what your describing.

just turned the tele on and noticed an ITV Advert/ Promo with a very squashed ITV1 logo... in fact it looked worst than the black line versions they seem to be doing at the moment!

Don't know what the promo was for but had the music of Calvin Harris Merrymaking At My Place over it. Anyone else see it?

I saw it too; it was promoting "Sold", I think. That squashed logo looked bloody awful.

Alot of people Egged it, but actully enjoyed it, and my whole sat down to watch it as well.

I believe it never got a 2nd run due to poor ratings

That was an odd announcement into All Star Family Fortunes.

There was a fault which affected a VERY small number of Family Fortunes competition entrants Sat 27th October .something about go to itv.com all very rushed .

I'll quote myself here, because thinking about, the problem is the fact that they have two totally different styled ECP's on the go at the moment, it would have been a lot harder (though still could be achieved as we've seen with the next slides) if just one version was used.

What is the point of the new version anyway?
Why is it only used on Soaps at the moment, is it a trial?
