Are the existing / previous idents still in use (those ones where the sides of the screen meet with each other to create a new take on the scene), or have they been fully discontinued?

While I would more welcome the new CG lot as additions rather than replacements, if the old lot are going then I won't miss them all that much.

I think they look somewhat cheap and boring. The old set was much more clever.

ITV4 still haven't mastered how to stop a programme for adverts, seemingly pressing pause at any point of a show and instantly cutting to a break bumper or sponsor. Very unprofessional.

A beautiful return to CGI idents.

Remind me again how to play your videos. Tried it in Quicktime, RealPlayer, Miro, DIVX Player to no avail.

Did you read the instructions?

The XviD codec isn't yet available for the Mac, so to play XviD videos on your Mac you first need to install QuickTime and the DivX codec. Then you need to download and install the delegate component available for your Mac OS version:

Divx: http://www.divx.com/divx/mac/

http://download.divxmovies.com/XVIDDelegateMacOSX.sit - OSX
http://download.divxmovies.com/XVIDDelegateMacOS.sit - OS 8 / 9

Just download VLC Media Player the most simple and multi-format player ever:
http://www.videolan.org/vlc

You don't even need to install extra codecs with VLC Player, plus it's Mac, Linux and Windows friendly.
