Depends where you are I guess. Westcountry Live still does a reasonable job under difficult circumstances.

Herewith one of the many problems with a single ITV - the regions can't make up their own minds on break placement.

Agreed! What a mess that set is. It's far too clinical and the blue colour scheme is very cold and unwelcoming. I much preferred the old orange colour scheme and set. It had a more homely, welcoming feel to it.

Yeah i guess so. Anglia News (west) which i get seems to run ok.

Lovely looking fountains there, a dark alley, man walks into pub and jets of yellow liquid fire on along the street.

The only problem with these is the fact that the music isn't diverse enough and that the logo is now too big.

Hopefully we will get a christmas one this year, there's no excuse if they can create 4 new ones now.

Are we going to see the old ones again? Might be problematic given the differences in logo size, but consistency never has been one of ITV's strengths.

That won't be anything new really for some regions, Tyne Tees always used to have an ad-break in Northern Life / Tyne Tees Today in the 80s and 90s. Hopefully it'll be three minutes less of padding and pointless items, rather than a lack of local news.

Maybe they will have changed the logo on the old ones? Maybe not though... this is ITV after all.

Get rid of pointless items such as weather/UV report sponsorships and that's more time available for the news.

Awful new look to Loose Women, blue never works well usually in daytime/lifestyle programmes. The old one looked quite expensive, this one looks cheap and tacky.
