Saturday Night Takeaway returns on the 8th September. I guess this takes them up till I'm A Celeb. Wouldnt they be better doing Takeaway from Jan - April?

I suppose that they run from September heading towards christmas as the programme gets big ratings and can attract bigger advertisers. Ideally the show should run sept - dec, but again I'm a celebrity gets big ratings. I suppose the only thing that they could do is to take the programme to Australia, now that would be interesting.

ITV have got Alan Titchmarsh down for 3pm - 3.55pm from Mon 3rd September - i thought he was suppose to be doing the 5pm slot?

That's what I'd heard as well, but thinking about it, it will most probably work out better, depending on what the programme actually is. Is it marked down to be an audience whooping chat show, or something more along the lines of richard and judy?
At least it won't go up against Paul O'Grady, meaning that each show could do well. Aren't they airing this new quiz show with Chris Tarrant when Antony Cotton finishes which I heard was the week before Paul O Grady comes back?

This was never said, it's just that most people put 2 and 2 together and get 5 whenever 'Chat show' and 'ITV' is mentioned, and automatically assume it will be on at 5pm. I heard it was going in the Loose Women slot but it seems Loose Women run practically 52 weeks of the year thesedays
