ITV thread

I noticed this trailer just before Emmerdale for ITV Mobile. First time I've heard of it and no doubt it's aimed at recouping some of the lost revenue from ITV Play (although they aren't charging premium rates for the texts)

It doesn't look too bad on that long shot, its on the close up of the contestants when its obstructing their head, whats wrong with what ITV3 have done, either a single or double line in the usual small ITV font.

I thought it was only E4 that used dogs to tell us that Skins was starting in two weeks. I'm surprised ITV2 didn't start this earlier.

Weldone ITV, Screw up The X Factor times why dont you. We just had a ECP pop up saying "The X Factor is back, tonight at 6.40"

I'm reading on Digital Spy that all of ITV's DOG have gone multicoloured.

Can't get to a TV at the moment but the thread is not full of praise!

Awful, not to mention pointless.

I''ve got ITV2 on at the moment, and the new coloured DOG is absolutely awful. It distracts you from what you are watching (one of the Bourne films).

What next, will it keep animating like the CBeebies logo does to avert your attention, just that little bit more?!

Oh, it's gone on ad break stings but back during the commercials...

What are they playing at? Talk about rubbing salt in the wound, those DOGs are just hideous.

If colourful DOGs are one of their less popular decisions of recent times then look at other bad decisions on ITV at the moment.

Firstly ITV News gets a long-awaited new look. But as usual their idea turns out to be far from original.
