maybe if the Queen, President Obama, Gordon Brown, The Arch Bishop of Canterbury, The Pope and quite possibly God all simultainiously apologise then some people may be prepared to let it go

It's worth remembering that ITV does put out many hours of live programming every day without accidently playing out adverts - GMTV, This Morning, Loose Women, all the news bulletins as well as every live sporting event they've transmitted.

It's a shame that this cock up happened just at the wrong moment, if it was Phillip and Fern that got interrupted then there would have been a lot less fuss

Yes, it was very unfortunate that Everton had the audacity to score during ITV's little cock up but like it or not, ITV deserve all the criticism they get, they failed miserably.

Not that I minded too much; it was the most exciting thing to happen in the whole 120 minutes.
