This may have already been covered in an existing topic, however I think it's probably worth a separate thread. It would appear that ITV production workers and other staff have voted to strike on 14 May over pay. Programmes likely to be affected include News bulletins and Good Morning Britain.

Well based on the weekend schedules it'll be Jeremy Kyle for the entire day.
6am to 2pm is the most affected so I suspect it'll be the standard daytime shows churned out on bank holidays, then if there is no news in the evening I'd stick The Chase on from 6-7pm. The News at Ten slot is slightly more awkward at 40 minutes in length - probably have to run early or run late dependent on the filler.
I dont see how ITV News will be affected much. If its just on air presenters affected they can be replaced by non union presenter or freelance, if Local news is affected then perhaps shorter bulletins?

This is a strike by BECTU, the union which technicians and engineers are in. Presenters are likely to be NUJ or Equity, so won't be striking. Even if they were out too, presenters would be the least of your worries.
STV and UTV won't be affected, in terms of their own output and local news, so for them, scheduling of local news programmes, especially in the 18:00 - 18:30 slot, could be interesting.
