Who is Paul Akinbola?

An individual who makes (mostly) silly and pointless suggestions about programmes/revivials, programme formats and often the worst type of presenter for said programmes. Used to be spotted on the Challenge Facebook page but suspect presence on TV sites such as this one under various handles. Probably slightly less irritating than "20 minute musical interval man" on YouTube...

Oh. Thanks

He's also was (and maybe still is) a regular caller to Iain Lee's show on TalkRadio.

Anyway, back to topic, I don't think Sky and ITV should merge their production arms. The more production arms there are, the more diversity and choice viewers have.

You make it sound like viewers can press the Red Button and watch something from Hat Trick Productions at the drop of a hat without having to navigate the various channel catch-up services first. There's just an endless amount of content both back catalogue and brand new that nobody realistically has time to watch or consume it all in their lifetime. Back in the days of two, three, four channels maybe so. But today with 600 channels, Amazon Prime and Netflix... not a chance.

I'm sorry if I make it sound like that.

When I spotted this thread title, my initial thoughts were e.g. "Should Lidl merge with Burger King?" or "Should Royal Mail merge with Kwik Fit?" etc etc. Rolling Eyes Shocked Confused
Stuart, DE88 and all new Phil gave kudos
