which itv service should return?

the central cake was one of the best logos ever made.
why did they axe it?

Carlton took over Central. Eventually, it became far less expensive for them to use standard Carlton idents everywhere. Plus, it strengthened the brand.

I actually quite like the Carlton idents now (although obviously I preferred Central). The Carlton idents now are certainly better than the last set of Central idents with the plain Gill Sans Central on the plain background...
