Interesting. On Sky it has the "Find out how to upgrade your subscription" message.

I wonder what ITV could possibly be offering?

And judging by the listings on Digital Bitrate, Ericsson's providing playout as with the main ITV network and the ITV Digital Channels.

We're all thinking this will be a sports channel. I'm just thinking again about the title, Box Office. I know Sky's version shows sport. But, at a cinema, the ticket counter is sometimes called the box office. I'm wondering if this may be a film channel.

They've only got rights to show six films and they show them all on ITV2...

Is that the films they seem to show every week on rotation? Laughing

Has a channel ever done a PPV for exclusive TV content, in the sense you pay to see it first. I know ITV Hub offer programme before they air but in a big week of Corrie you could get to watch next episode for £1.99 or the new series of Broadchurch launch for £2.99 for example.

I can guarantee that ITV will offer an HD simulcast along with the SD channel.

CITV however is in need of one, when all of its sister channels, and its rivals are available in HD.

Reminds me of when I used to buy movies on ITV digital. Constant break ups, but no charge.

There's tests for CITV HD and ITV Be HD on satellite but they haven't launched yet despite testing for months now.

Are Sky EPG slots still a scarce resource? I'd have thought not at this stage.
