ITV Box Office

Don't mean to go off topic but I caught this slide on ITV Box Office HD a few days ago:

Considering there has been no gloating press release about how successful it all was I'm guessing it was as popular as we all thought it would be. No news on a next event either?

I guess the issue is similar to those of 16 years ago - ITV viewers won't pay for sport and Sky viewers won't pay for ITV.

A week late posting this, but ITV have now decided to show another Eubank Jr match - this time against Arthur Abraham on the Box Office channel.

If anything, hopefully ITV don't suffer the same problems that they've encountered last time round with people's Sky boxes showing nothing but blue screens.

ITV Box Office are showing the Mayweather/McGregor Press Conference from Wembley tonight. Note that they're using the Sky Sports Shield DOG if watching on Sky.

In their wise wisdom, they've decided to put it out on delay with sound effects to cut out swearing before 9pm.

Sky customers have had numerous issues this evening trying to access the boxing. Checking on social media, there have been hundreds of complaints.

TV will never catch on!. It's just too unreliable.

Do ITV run this ad free? I just can't believe they're making more money on this than they would through advertising alone should they air it on ITV4 and ITV.

I wonder how many were affected by blue screens this time.

Tonight's coverage being anchored by John Inverdale Wimbledon's loss is boxings gain.

It was ad free, same for the channel's coverage of the Mayweather/McGregor presser yesterday which was FTV.

There were some issues with people watching through TV Player as well.

is two itv box office logos necessary during the coverage, unlike sky box office, the itv box office logo takes up a lot of space, maybe they shouldnt have put it on the timer, I think a world feed of this event didnt have the logo on the clock.
