I've just been reading TV-ark forum and apparently, ITV aren't just getting a new look, but a new name - expected to be.. GRANADA !

I think ITV's branding is a big mess, what other company would go through so many logo's in less then 3 years.

How would all of the other channels work though?!

Granada 1, Granada 2, Granada 3, Granada 4, Granada News Channel.

I suppose it could work actually, Granada is a recognised name in most parts of the UK - but why would ITV want to go backwards?

Granada Central

Granada Tyne Tees

Isnt the official name for ITV North West, Carlton Granada? I suppose thats right, as they did merge, and its been the name in some TV Guides I have seen. Imagine now on ITV1 Carlton Granada, ITV Carlton Granada News.
