My goodness, even I'm not THAT ugly!

Is that what you lot have to put up with up north?

Afraid so Nick, it was worse when she was Pregnant, as she took up most of the screen! Laughing No disrespect to Debbie, she is a good presenter, far better than Steve Hadley.

Either Jo Blythe or Jon Mitchell are the best of the YTV team.

Debbie is fab - Official.

Maybe the other forecasters had problems getting in to Leeds today, I know it was very snowy. Perhaps Debbie was the only one that made it, and didn't have time to record all the regions forecast.

Thats my theory anyway.

Yes I believe the presenters struggled to get in and so did the Meridian presenter.

I think Steve's good

I'm very disappointed with the ITV current graphics, they look ugly and degrading!

Channel 5 again. Laughing

Anglia now use images for backgrounds instead of that deap blue. It looks a lot better, even though they always use the same image of clouds.

The YTV team also use the cloudy background now. On Tyne Tees the bright blue background is still used at present.

It's now about 6 weeks since the relaunch. Martin Davies said at the time that we could expect some amazing graphics "with zooms right down to streel level" to be phased in over the weeks.

Anyone know when we are likely to see these changes?

Well I don't know where the GMTV thread went.

Anyway due to Andrea being under the doctor, they've had guest weather people for GMTV -- Kate Reeves from Westcountry [or TVS as Eamonn suggested] yesterday in Exeter I think, and yay for Emma Jesson on this morning from Northampton.

I do like the idea of this, perhaps with some GMG north peeps as well, as I'm certain Wales' Ruth Wignall is far too lazy to get up at that hour no matter how pregnant she is.
