Knowing ITV, the screens will just have one long image along the middle with big black bars top and bottom like most of their regional news.

Good recreation. The current “fake” window in the existing set works fine. Don’t think anyone will notice.

You're thinking of the budget that the ITV Regions have, this is ITV Daytime...they waste money like there's no tomorrow Wink

Which studio is GMB in? Studio TC3?


Correct. From what I've heard, GMB are sharing with This Morning. This means that set won't be too different to GMB's set, unless they re-dress it completely, like Lorraine and Loose Women in TLS.

I am looking forward to the move. At least once they are at Television Centre we know that is their home until possibly Spring 2022 at the earliest.

GMB and This Morning are going to have sets on opposite sides of TC3. This can be seen on Ben Shephard’s Instagram page.

It seems a shame that they can't use the same set, or parts of the same set. The one for This Morning looks as though it could be re-lit/re-dressed to make it usable by GMB.

Well, thanks for the comment, Andrew. I clearly wasn't aware of the setup and hadn't seen Ben Shepherd's Instagram post until today. I haven't been entirely up to date with this news, so I apologise if I was a bit mistaken for the TC3 format. Embarassed
