Slebs always want to be on TV. Slebrity Squares next.
I take it nobody told this guy Squares already came back... Seriously though, wasn't there a report not so long ago that ITV were curbing all these revivals?
It's interesting* (and by "interesting", I in fact mean "poor") how that article spectacularly fails to mention that Paul O'Grady's version of the show was hosted in-character as Lily Savage, and essentially reads as if "he" (i.e. as himself) presented it.
It's a bit like writing that there was once "An Audience with Warren Mitchell", rather than Alf Garnett. As Lily Savage herself once said: "Most so-called "journalists" couldn't write their own name in sh!t during a dirty protest on the H Block!"
No, before his chat shows, the only thing he'd pretty much done as himself were those travel shows (where he used to get drunk and slag off Carlton all the time)
I think Paul O'Grady did a one off as himself for that David Walliams 24 hour challenge, and spent a lot of the time saying how much he hated doing it originally.
