Surely this is down to Sky? They never update EPG's until around 10.30/11am.

Considering how well executed the rebrand is, seems they've let themselves down on the Sky front. EPG still refering to all the regions as ITV1, with the old logo and idents still in use on ITV Player on the On Demand service.

BSkyB don't control the channel names on the EPG. Why do people think they do, just because they have the most channels on that platform?

I had to change from 4:3 to 16:9 to see the watermark - and the whole of 'itv' on the ident. Not normally an issue.
It is in the 16:9 safe area, but its on the edge...they need to move it a couple of pixels in.

I'm pretty sure they do - it's Sky Platform Control who have to make the change.
I've only had a chance to look at a couple of the idents online so far too - some of them have a good sense of humour (I particularly like ITV4's bonnet slide and ITV2's curling). Hopefully they'll give them a good airing, Channel 4-style, and not just crop them all down to 10 seconds.
Oh, and I wonder if the LWT-coloured hot air balloon is a coincidence, or a bit of a nod to the past?

ITV Studios endcap, which had a weird tune.

Just saw the Balloon Ident and it looked really good - on ITV HD the logo seemed to stand out, despite being camouflaged.
Just noticed that the ITV HD DOG changes to just 'ITV' when it's not a HD programme. Those who can't see the whole logo on their screen must have really bad over-scanning - the logo for me appears about 6cm's away from each edge of the screen, quite far in I'd say!
