I don't think itv have an issue when it comes to ident choice - there are plenty of subdued idents. Why they chose the knickers ident is very odd.

They could at least get Welsh freelancers to pre record any continuity for ITV Cymru Wales, or even get one of the newsreaders to do it. I'm surprised ITV has a Scottish voice when they don't even cover Scotland!

The `Slide` ident soundtrack sounds like C418. Note the same notes (well, most of the time), tunes and that radio crackling at the beginning.

Just noticed that the 'slide' ident and the 'leaves' ident themes don't follow the same 8 or 11 nothe themes, they just seem like random tracks.

The slide ident doesn't seem to follow any pattern, but the leaves ident does have an 8 note theme, but not in the same style as the other idents.

I know that many wont agree but I like the idea of the Christmas idents following the same pattern rather than going for a whole new look like in the past few years.

features yet more unseen ITV idents, plus Pugwash ident with slightly different music (nothing to get excited about), and a new ITV2 ident (swimming pool).

The video is mainly about the music which was produced for the various idents, so some of it sounds quite mixed up,

That tends to happen. This is most noticeable with DVDs. The sound may be more higher pitch than it is on TV.
