How is that a problem - surely it's a benefit that they'll be idents which are fresh months down the line because they've got plenty to choose from and not the same 6-12 in constant rotation. And to be honest whether a channel has six or sixty idents there always seems to be ones which get far more regular outings thant the others.

Yeah exactly, if you never watch sport you won't see ones designed to go with sport programming for example.

If they were more evenly spread, then it would be a benefit. The problem at the moment is that 6-12 seem to be in constant rotation.

A pound in the jar for ITV News, after crediting The Brits coverage to 'ITV1'.

That channel has been through quiet a rebrand since its launch http://logos.wikia.com/wiki/ITV_Choice

Wonder why they didn't just go with the ITV brand like for the main UK channel, can't get any more association that to have the same branding.

Not sure if this has been brought up but itv have a 'next' banner at the bottom of the screen? I thought they scrapped that with the rebrand?

To be fair it is so unobtrusive I almost like it!

I love the ITV rebrand. It's just brilliant. Everything about it!

I can't believe how much I've grown to like the new logo. It's not to everybody's tastes but it is vibrant, modern and fresh - much better than the drabness of before. I'm split on the idents, but the colour and vibrance of the general presentation is top-notch.

I think the new ITV logo presentation pakage is quit refreshing to look at and much better than the last boring and bland presentation we have had for the last 6 years although I find the watermark logo in the top left corner is quite unessesary and anoying.

I think all those (me included) who dismissed the idents as another 2006 disaster have been proved wrong, they are much better than that and actually work well.

You know what - agreed.

I was hugely cynical when I saw the original logo, but as a package it's so much better than what came before. For once you get the idea ITV is trying to stand for something, rather than having a corporate logo akin to the BBC.

The logo itself still isn't perfect, but you get the feeling it's not absolutely central to making the package work, an interesting concept in itself.

It actually makes STV's presentation look quite dated, generic and staid in comparison. So fair play ITV.

I agree. See also BBC America. I guess its to distinguish it internally.
