They need to sort the weather out! It was only 3 weeks ago on Boxing Day that it completely fell off air last, and only on Monday HD viewers had completely distorted sound.
I was watching on HD delayed and at the start of the breakdown, just before the apology announcement started, there were high frequency tones and other strange noises coming out. It came back during the start of the next programme too, however changing channel the problem was still there, and indeed until I replugged in the HDMI cable, so it must have been my TV... but if so, a strange coincidence since it's never happened before!
I mentioned this earlier in the thread, but has anyone else noticed, since the rebrand, many of the idents play out much longer than they used to with the previous look.
The ident which played just now before Corrie was 30 seconds long, the last lot of idents were only made 20 seconds long, and often only lasted about 12 seconds at the most.
I'm not complaining, as I actually like it when long idents play out, so we get to hear the music better, but do you think there is a reason they are playing them out longer now?
I didn't like the fact the logo disappeared before he started speaking.
Yes I agree, I don't know why they decided to make the logo disappear so soon. Infact why does it need to disappear at all? You can hardly see it sometimes anyway, so if you just glanced up at the wrong moment you wouldn't see it at all.
Where did the Late Debate come from as aren't these usually done from the regional news studios, so be interesting to see how they used the new studio if that is the case in London.
