Yeah, that scorebar needs a rethink.

This isn't new by the way. I believe the sound effects are.

I like the ITV Sport sting, very nice. Agree re the scorebar though.

I know, but it is showing the new font.

OK, thank you.

It may be new but I don't think the font is that different to what it replaces. Looks awful for the opening credits on Corrie though.

Agree with everyone on the ITV Sport scoreboard - hasn't it only been a few months since they reduced the old one to just ITV?

Have to say as much as I like the new ITV Sport ident, the scorebar looks awful. Maybe should be slightly smaller and all in Black and White?

They've not updated the logo on the clips further down the page

I do agree ITV need to look at some of their more outdated Region names...I do believe using the ITV News brand plus Region is the best way to go.

I would agree if the ITV news brand was strong (is this not like the 4th or 5th rebrand for ITV News in over 10 years?) but it just isn't. It continues to decline and those regions should be allowed keep their own strong brand.
Last night's ITV News at Ten was walloped by 3 to 1 by it's BBC alternative and on Monday (it's strongest night) with ITV running it straight after the popular Lewis without ads it was still easily beaten by more than 2 to 1. In comparison the BBC NAT does well whatever the lead in!

Overall the rebrand has been done very well - consistant and with very few exceptions.

Not taken by the itv chameleon logo, think it will date quickly.

My main bug bear and not for the first time is the squashing of the credits. I accept that it will happen but perhaps they don't need to go as far as quarter screen?!

No surprise there to be fair. And they probably won't ever, the same way that repeats usually retain the old production slides.

Would you rather have it the BBC way, where it's half the screen but the top and bottom get chopped off?
