That reminded me to have a look on Countdown, and yes, new logo.

What's the tiny writing under the logo in the car stunt ident all about ?

I think it's supposed to look like a movie, so it's a movie logo with copyright underneath.

Even on HD I couldn't make it out properly, but it looks something like Copyright ITV4 Productions Limited. All rights reserved.

It's funny how the credits have gone full circle and after a decade of ECPs we're now back to the credits being squeezed to a quarter screen.

Is this a new announcer tonight ?

Soap credits now the same as all other show credits, boring black and white

Yes, there are a few new announcers on ITV (and possibly 2, 3 & 4) as I know several of the last lot have left.

The logo on the Coronation Street titles:



Shame they couldn't have given it the same effect as on the 'Coronation Street' text.

It might just be because it's the first day of the new look, but does anyone else think the announcers are given longer to speak on idents now?

Previously, it would be rare an ident would last more than about 10 seconds, now they seem to last closer to 20 seconds.
