I would assume that BTE indicates that whatever disaster recovery facility they are testing is routed to air.


What BTE stands for I don't know, possibly the BT is something that BT look after? Presumably anyone who does know wouldn't say on here.

The advertising industry generally still uses the ITV regional names quite a bit. I heard a radio ad not long ago which had 'only available in Yorkshire, Granada and Border' in the T&Cs at the end.

They mention the regions own their promotional vouchers too. Though it's interesting to see that they're even using the old regional boundaries. For instance the Central region includes Abingdon, Oxford and Windsor.
