Not really sure where to put this, but everybody in Broadchurch was watching 'ITV News Meridian'. In the last two series, it's been ITV News Westcountry, which makes sense considering it's set in Dorset. Have I missed a plot point or was it a mistake?

They might be watching the SD feed then the HD?

Even though it's fictional, the town where Broadchurch is filmed (West Bay, Dorset) would sort of be a TX overlap between Meridian and Westcountry?

I live fairly close to where it's filmed, and it's still quite far from the overlap (roughly Weymouth). Although in fairness Meridian would cover it so I guess that's why they picked it. It just seems strange after the likes of Ian Axton from Westcountry have made cameos in previous series.

The previous 2 series' also had an exact replica of the ITV News graphics, this series had a dodgy version with a clock chucked in.

No, terrestrial reception of Meridian is more or less impossible in Bridport, if there is an overlap it's legacy HTV West from Mendip, there's a b&b we often stay in there, and that's what it receives

The cue dot is being used on tonight's Saturday Night Takeaway series finale from Florida, the first time it's been used on a live primetime ITV show in a few years

I really do hope Harrys hills Alien Fun capsule gets a second series, it brought comedy back to ITV. I take it its get 8 episodes to match the nightly show?

I see Joe was alot better in this show. I dont know how he managed to get it so wrong for Blankety Blank.

Just a shame the show has nobody advertising apart from Freesat.
