It also says that "Hit me Baby....." will be filmed at a BBC studio. To the general public that sounds like a major event whereas we know that kind of thing happens all the time. Where is it made usually, it can't be the main studio at The London Studios as Takeaway are in there

Yup - Studio 1 at TLS is the only quite big studio, with 2 being a bit smaller and home to Paul O'Grady and 3 being really small in comparison.

Studio One at TLS is used for Takeaway,

Studio Two and Three can be opened up to create a large studio (although not as big as studio one) - the gallery they use is studio 3 - and this was the studio used for Hit Me Baby.

There is no This Morning on Friday due the Pope's funeral and changes to the schedule. There is Bootsale TreasureHunt and Flintstones The Movie.

As said previously there are St1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8. (anorak fact - Studio4 is still in existence - it was used for the in-vision ITV2 continuity and is now purely a voiceover booth which is used by the announcers for ITV2 and ITV3).

There is 23 floors which comprise everything from Transmission on the 2nd, London Studios Post Production (incl Edit Suites and Dubbing Suites), Met office (from the old LNN National Weather days), Granada Production (LWT Production as was), GMTV HQ, Canteen, Audience Reception Area which was the LWT Bar, I.T., and departments such as the Network Promotions Unit and I think compliance is still situated there.

I have only been there a couple of times but I have to say it is a vast building and one which is VERY easy to get lost in!! But then so is BBC Television Centre.

Do they still have the studio high in the tower with the view over London? It was the one they used for LWT News, Six O Clock Live etc.

The bottom section of the building is a complete maze of corridors, the tower section is a lot easier as each floor is just a lift lobby with offices around it.

TV Centre is a nightmare for the un-initiated, but has the advantage that it's circular so if you can't find something you just walk all the way round until you do!

Don't think so. It wasn't at TVC last Saturday, but it is in the forward plan for this Saturday, and the next one.

Very busy for lives in the studios on Saturday evening, because as well as Hit Me, there's Strictly Dance Fever, and Jet Set.
