I've not been watching since Loose Women started but after This Morning, the ITV Productions endcap froze for a while until the Dolmio sponsor ad went out before a trailer. The trailer was cut off at the end by a bumper followed by adverts. An ITV bumper appeared followed by a VT clock, and another trailer. An ident played into Loose Women, though it seemed a bit rushed, as they cut to Loose Women before the ITV1 logo came up. I've got no idea if anything has been happening since. Has there?
Interesting. I thought ITV1 was ITV1 but in Meridian it happened slighty differently.

I did notice that the subtitles were early thoughout the ad break though. The first subtitle for the first advert appeared over the ITV ident and the subtitles were early for the rest of the break. This also happened during one of the ad breaks in Sunday's Dancing on Ice. I checked ITV1 London on Sunday and the subtitles there were fine.
Sorry, did I start this post with the word 'interesting'? My mistake.
With 'Loose Women' supposedly live, with 'live' subtitles too, how come the subtitlers know what the presenters are going to say
before
they actually say it?
Also, ITV1 London this morning (well, at 4.10am anyway) got stuck for a while and just had a static ITV1 logo on screen for about two minutes finally crashing into the Nightscreen, or whatever it was supposed to be!
And why has ITV1 Central (East) dropped the 'Welcome to Central News for the East Midlands' bit and now say 'Welcome to ITV Regional News for the East Midlands' which was heard when I got here earlier?
Loose Women isn't live on Wednesday and Friday...also it's not uncommon for large chunks of script to be delivered to "live" subtitlers so they can get ahead a bit, and not have the awful delay you often get on live broadcasts.
Something similar happened last week (or the week before). When the closing Emmerdale sponsor finished - a black screen was on for seconds followed by a VT clock then the GMTV 'New Year' promo begun though was cut off mid-way for adverts.
