Wonder how the promo end boards will look now, or will they stick to the current white background with large text but now with different backgrounds to it instead to match the idents? The large text looks awful I think, hopefully it looks more sensible laid out in the new year.

I'm taking the latter to mean in the manner that Paramount Network trail their shows - ie you'll see the 'street sign' Coronation Street logo and the Emmerdale boxed logo instead of standard text.

This could go either way. Does it mean we'll only get one ident per week?
I like the concept but not sure rolling them out one per week is the best idea. I also worry that they may work better as "art" than "idents". The reason the BBC2 relaunch worked so well is because the idents are idents first and foremost.

Haven't seen any mention of soundtracks yet. I know its only just been announced but I wonder if the idents will have their own music or whether it will be like Oneness idents with just background sounds (I hope not).
One of the best things with the current ITV idents is the varied soundtrack, many pieces of which are lovely to listen to (when you can hear them that is)

Well, sound design agency Echoic Audio will work on the music for the idents

I feel like it’s something that sounds more impressive than it will actually end up being. Some of the examples in the video look good, but some look like they won’t be very exciting. Nice to have things refreshed though.
