As much as I've spoken out about generic threads in the past, it's clearly mentioned in the thread sub-heading, which AJ has been updating regularly throughout this issue.
The discussion on the reasoning behind the channel being axed has been talked about alot there - perhaps turning this thread into a "What should replace ITV Play?" topic would be a better idea.

Hardly the same thread for the following reasons:
1) It is about general phone ins
2) It also mentions Five
3) It is from last week
4) It has nothing about ITV Play being axed until about page 19

Sorry... nobody can see into the future. Had we known the channel was going to be axed last week, obviously it would have been put somewhere on page 1.
By the way, it supposedly has nothing to do with the current investigations, but its more for "commercial" reasons, so it doesn't exactly fit into your thread if thats true.

Insulting people isnt going help your cause. No matter what the title of a thread is the fact is that the axing of ITV Play is being discussed in here. Hence this thread is unnecessary.

There is a link though. If the current investigations hadn't have happened the oppertunity to dicth it wouldn't have arisen.
But my point is the reports say that the decision is nothing to do with the quiz show investigations therefore that other thread is now off topic and I never actually did the first insult, so please read the thread before making accusations.
