Regarding which show is more popular, I don't believe there is any proof, however what does make QM popular is that although the answers are difficult to get they will axe a game after a while.
I saw The Mint the other night and they had the "&*% game where you have to guess the number from the sums displayed on the screen, that game has been on so long!
None of this matters as hopefully the whole ITV Play idea will be kicked to the kerb soon

i can't stand ITV play - ITV should change it to ITV5 and show music, maybe some current affairs AND then some [old] ITVplay games for like an hour, but then other programs. THis would help them grab some of the music TV and not show the same thing 24/7

I noticed this the other Saturday, The Mint Extra had the same game on at 3pm and then again much later at about 11pm with it still being unsolved.
Like 95% of this Forum, ITV Play is only worth it for Greggles.

Once Greggles gets his bigtime primetime hit and Debbie gets her own daytime/early evening gameshow I can see QM and the whole ITV PLay channel going down the pan very quickly. It is only those 2 along with Brian Dowling and Lee Baldry that help make ITV play a success.

People like Lee Baldry because he quite often gives away the answers to the quizzes without realising it. Mind you Greg's done it on at least one occasion
I do agree though that once Debbie and Greg move on to other things after ITV Play, that'll be it. It's a risky strategy that the most popular presenters across ITV Play as a whole are mostly concentrated on the one strand.

Apparently that "Lets Not Give Away Any Money Tonight" numbers game was solved on The Mint last night - it was something obsured like '2104' and you had to count the TEN in NI
NET
EEN and the 'X' as ten etc.
Another game that is still going is the Guess the Word - once again, it could be any four-letter word and will go on forever. These two games are where the con is at its greatest.
Greggles is what makes ITV Play in my view and don't get me started on this new PlayDate thing - *squirms*

This is what makes QuizMania stand out from the rest as they don't do these types of games which are clearly nothing more than money-spinners. Ftn's Quiz Night Live is very very keen on "find the missing word" and "add all the numbers" - one of the numbers games on there's been running for literally months now with no solution in sight.

Lately it's only been tower games and beat the presenter I think... occasionally they do "splitwords" too. (The ?E?T ones.)
