They stopped doing that a long time ago... when the 50 Keys Jackpot went, I think.
Now there's no jackpot, there's no real need for a sting, so it just carries on after a win.

How come they dont show highlights from past shows anymore?
If i remember they seemed to show best bits everytime they had a winner.

I totally agree there. I remember watching Nigel Mitchell, with what I remember as one of the first tower games, that was actually done in the graphics to represent a tower block (with blood spilling over the top)rather than their simple graphics.
I'm sure Nigel even dressed up as dracular.
Christmas was a bit of a let down to me, they started really late into December, and didn't really put that much effort in.
What I don't understand is why the set is very similar to the old one. Surely it had to be built into a different studio so that it was ready to go on air today at 1500, when the old set was still in use until 0405 this morning. I quite like the new things that have come in. The summer area is nice, though it will be gone in a month or so, or should be. Maybe a big sofa area would have been a better idea. They could have at least changed the shape of the window and door on the set.
Part of me was expecting new graphics and animations, especially the on screen graphics, surely they could tweak them. The current sausage look has been around forever. I still miss the big blue phone that used to be on screen. Oh well.

The best decoration on Quizmania was at Halloween. They really made an effort.

Back to The Mint...
Why is Craig Stevens such a bloody idiot? A few minutes ago he asked an 84 year old woman to name all her 8 grandchildren and tell him if she was married. He soon changed his tune when he found out she was widowed.
What a t**t!

I seem to remember them "moving" into an identical studio not so long ago - so maybe the new set is what became of the old one.
I presumed they'd just vacated the other one, but there's a chance there's duplicates of everything I suppose. *Shrug*

I find him unwatchable. Far inferior to Brian.

The Mint has now changed its phone number and started charging 75p per call, just like QuizMania. I presume this now only leaves Rovers Return and the ITV Playalong text game that continue to charge 60p a go. Still at least Mint's new number is significantly different to QuizMania's now so in theory people shouldn't now be dialling the wrong number.

Oh I don't know. Getting a phone number right is probably akin to a Mensa challenge for the brain-dead pondlife who watch these channels.

Careful, you'll upset Greggles. Remember you're slagging off the "audience" that QM is "catering for", which to Greggles is like saying to Melanie Phillips that Israel is the biggest threat to middle east stability.
And if you got that reference, I'm glad I'm not the only person who uses the Daily Mail for toilet paper.
