Silent game night on The Mint tonight then. Stick the game on the screen and stop people getting through until the presenter appears again.
Nothing new there, Quiz Call does it quite often. My only gripe with it is the cries of "keep calling while you have a closer look at this puzzle" because its pretty obvious that no calls will be taken.
Has anyone seen Eureka! on Hollywood Tv its the same quiz show as anything before it... but!.... the puzzles are on a climbing wall and a huge crossword a couple of stories high and theres dancers ant the best bit is that theres a bored studio audience of stumped spanish tourists!!!!!!! YAy
Huh, from Jim Bowen to the Cheeky Girls, whatever next. Apparently Chris Tarrant is due to 'visit' soon.
I must admit, I'm getting fed up with all this pretence that they are actually 'in a mansion' and that the 'window cleaners' control the cameras and Brian is always in the hot tub. Honestly, I know they get some thick people ring through with answers but we're not all like that.
Not quite, although Extra Mint finishes on Sunday to be replaced by
Friends Reunited: The School Run
ITV Play 18:00 to 21:00
Tim Dixon presents an addictive game of skill and memory, where keeping a cool head can earn cold hard cash! Players have to get from the top of the game board to the bottom by answering a series of year-themed questions. But for the duration of the show, none of questions change and they all stay in the same place on the board. If you you can remember what you've seen and where you've seen it - you're in the money.
No, apparently "The Mint", is signed up for a 182 episode run until September, although Extra Mint on ITV Play is making way for some kind of Friends Reunited based quiz.
ITV's AGM statement earlier this week said that their 'participation TV' programming is achieving a monthly profit of £2m.
Oh god, so what is so special about tonight's staged version of The Mint? Ok, so someone's going to win the jackpot, Craig is in love with the Cheeky Girls (bleeuuggh!) and they're all dressed in suit and bowtie.
