That silly vault still hasn't opened - as if its ever going to?

They've now dramatically cut back on the number of guesses they allow at opening the vault. They seem to have scrapped that game at the start of every show with the five red phones which gave each caller a guess at the vault, so now it's just one or two guesses per night which usually come right at the end of those dreadfully drawn-out "name a male singer" type games which go on for hours.
I thought they'd have wanted this £100,000 to go fairly quickly in order to whip up some excitement, but instead they're putting the brakes on giving it away.

Interesting, I've heard no mention of the vault tonight so far. Bev hasn't said "That Mint vault has got to go" etc. Clearly there are only limited number options left and they realise that apparently some members of an internet forum are working out the guessed numbers etc. It will probably go at the end of The Mint's present series - whenever it is...soon I hope.
Also, Kat Shoob was also presenting The Daily Quiz this afternoon.

Quizmania...
I just love Greggles reaction to all the slightly drunk people who are phoning in.

To Quizmania's credit at least they don't do those obscure "Add all the numbers" quizzes which Quiz Night Live is quite fond of. Where the answer comes from on those is anybody's guess.
The ladder games are generally quite good on Quizmania and considerably quite easy for the most part, although it was quite interesting to see how many people made a right pig's ear of "PUBLIC _____" last night.

They're told every night when the various regions will be joining them, it's largely up to them as to whether to do anything about it. Usually they don't bother - Quizmania were a lot better, often playing a short title sequence when Wales or SMG joined.
