Part of me was thinking earlier this week that ITV may switch around The Mint and Quizmania throughout the year. For example, them running for 6 months each and then switching channels.
If only to get rid of The MInt off the main channel for a bit, and to give Quizmania decent prizes again. It's such a shame to go from giving away £5000, and even £25000 on some occassions to giving away £50.
Though surely when digital takesover fully, it will be down to viewers choice at the end of the day.
Few technical hitches with The Mint tonight and earlier on Extra Mint. Apparently stand-in presenter Caroline had to talk for 55minutes while engineers sorted out the phone lines or something.
Caller: Transplant.
Greg: Transplant?
Caller: Yeah.
Greg: We're doing jobs beginning with 'C', love.
Caller: Yep, that one.

This is the calibre of people that ring these channels though. The amount of time someone gets through and thinks they're on another show is sad- these people must have all the quiz channels programmed into their phone's memory, and picked the wrong one. Sadly, these are the people who are funding british television, judging by the amount of channels this stuff is appearing on, taking away proper programming.
