This is an interesting statistic from The Times :

"The company (ITV) earned £1.2 million from a late night quiz show, Quizmania, in the first two weeks of its transmission."

No wonder all the channels are scrambling to get in on the act

The ITV Annual Report aims to have ITV Play making £20 million PROFIT from its first year on-air. That's some target, but with such strong promotion and coverage on late-night ITV1 and ITV2 too, can it really fail?

I expect that Quizmania will disappear back into the Sky EPG (on InformationTV) as it was before it launched on ITV1.

It seems to suggest it will stay but be part of the branded ITVPlay section of overnights on ITV1 and 2. Quizmania is quite addictive after a night shift and I can see why people would spend a fortune calling ... thus meaning ITV can make a fortune.

To me the bent p makes the play part resemble a games console controller, a bit like this:
