Where the hell have you been?
M&M is being removed from Freeview on 12 April at 6am.
It will remain on Sky, NTL and Telewest.

I knew it was going somewhere but all I got was rumours and no news.

Yes, as far as we are aware it will remain on Sky and cable. However when ITV3 was set to launch it wasn't going to be on Sky and we weren't expecting Plus to disappear at the last moment.

As Men & Motors have been doing more cross-promotion for ITV programming it wouldn't suprise me if the content was merged into ITV4. I guess it depends on how taking it off Freeview will affect the ratings. If they did so then in theory they could make ITV4 run 24hrs, with ITV Play running from 6pm to 6am.

That's a good point, Charlie.
I think I would like to see that happen. Cool

And replace the only decent late night program on ITV4 (Letterman) with that cheapo ITV Play sh!te? Errr, no.

Regarding The Mint ... the question that was being asked just over half an hour ago was "Name any UK airport.". One of the
studio contestants suggested "Manchester". The answer was accepted, and she won £200. A caller came through right
after that, and suggested "Ringway". The answer was accepted, even though the studio contestant just said that!

(Ringway Airport is what Manchester Airport used to be called.)

Just saw it on mine as well, Charlie. Is it supposed to be squashed to the left? (Not your screenshot the actual still)

Also, I noticed ITV4 showing a double bill of Police, Camera, Action. Maybe they'll start showing more Men and Motors programmes for us "mm" viewers.

Infact for Manchester Airport you could actually phone in with the answers of......

Ringway
Manchester Airport and
Manchester International Airport

also for East Midlands one could have phoned in and said....
East MIdlands Airport or...
NOttingham East Midlands Airport (actually owned by The Manchester Airport Group, along with Bournemouth and Humberside!!!!)

Did anyone phone in with the answer of Barton Aerodrome (the original home of Manchester's Airport) ???????

There's idents every few seconds, and the ITV Play advert, now.
Somebody should probably capture the idents - it's a good opportunity to get them without an announcer rambling on. Cool
