QM, must admit was in the bracket of "oh God not another gaming channel and for heavans sake taking over ITV Night Time - how dare they", but it has been very good.
QM (fremantle/RTL) has got the best mix of presenters who actually make the show very watchable - the games are very duff, but what do you expect at that time in the morning!!!
ITV have/are trying to copy the QM formula, but if the first show is anything to go by, then they should swap the shows back, so that QM is on ITV1. I fear that ITV1 will lose viewers to ITV2 and QM has now a dedicated audience - but do ITV really care about its viewers.
If its true that QM is now a purely made-for-ITV programme, then that is a slight reprieve on the management of ITV, but adding commercials!!!!!! - don't ITV (fremantle/RTL) make enough money from the phone-calls!!!!

i thought the mint last night seemed like an adults version of the very first holly and stephens saturday showdown. quizmania deserves to be on itv1. even people who don't watch it know about it which is the wierd thing! but then again, everyone has seen it at some point. QM is something different and dosent deserve to be put on freeview, it deserves better!

Well it was being made at The Maidstone Studios. I did think "Guess what's in Chantelle's bag" was similar to "Scratch's Cupboard"
It's also quite appropriate that The Mint is made at Maidstone as they do have a bit of a history of viewer participation programming here. Challenge TV's Prize Time and The Games Room were made at Maidstone as well.

A chance?! With 'Chantelle' as the first guest and useless presentation -I failed to give it a chance! Arrrrrrrggggghh! Unfortunately the format is rushed, cheap and trashy.

I really hate this sort of programming, but Quizmania is an exception really, but I still think it should never be on a channel like ITV1, ITV1 should be the place for the best ITV programmes put out by the network.
Nice ITV Play ident though, that's a bit more like it, now do something to ITV1's ident!
