ITV planning to resurrect Tiswas

Read in today's People that ITV are planning to resurrect Tiswas, with Dick and Dom at the helm.

The word "Nooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!" springs to mind for some reason!

Does this mean the end of MoM - and more importantly Holly - on a Saturday morning?

It wouyld be a good idea if they weren't going to put those arses on it.

As in "Noooooooo!!!!!!!!!! It's rather blatantly untrue!!!!!!!!!" by any chance?

Earlier this week Dick & Dom speak out about their BBC2 show. So let's say they are considering moving to ITV.

Now what could they do on ITV, what show had 'muck muck' type stuff going on, I know Tiswas. There that's the story. "Dick and Dom to host Tiswas revival"

It's been quite funny over the last six months though. It had a rough start as with any new show but in my view, it's better than Dick N Dom. Although both shows are out of the target age group for my watching but doesn't appear to be with some of the things they say on MOM!

I think I'd take this news with a pinch of salt, I'd hardly rate 'The People' as a reliable news source.

Mom is the only good thing on a saturday morning. Plus there just got a new dog , so I don't see how there going to get cut.

Dick and Dom technically resurrected Tiswas when they started doing their stupid Bungalow program!

I doubt a dog would be a saviour for the programme as such but more a way of keeping the existing viewers in.

With or no dog, IMO it's a crappy programme.

Tiswas cannot work without Chris Tarrant! Dick and Dom will kill it.

And for those who compare Dick & Dom to Tiswas, there was more depth to the latter and the humour, while anarchic, was good-natured.

It could never be brought back full stop - you can't recapture something once it's gone especially when there won't be anything fro m the original apart from the title.
