I can see them showing ANYTHING that will get young viewers in. Given the potenial for phone income on top, they'll have a good crack a getting the rights to it. That said, I don't think C4 will let it go at any price.
I just don't understand this whole thing with trying to attract the youngsters when they are the ones who are clearly doing other things with their time. ITV's best bet is to serve their older viewers as they will be the ones more likely to be at home round the TV.

Advertisers are most interested in people ages 25-45 as they generally have the highest level of disposable income. You can sell tea bags to pensioners but you're unlikely to sell them a 37" LCD TV.

By all means try and attract the 25-45 audience, but the really young folks - the teens I think ITV are desperately trying to attract with their Love Island type shenanigans - just arn't sitting around waiting for the TV to churn something 'exciting' out.

For goodness sake, ITV does not need Big Brother, it needs to bring back its bloody variety and entertainment.
Charles Allen has left that channel in a complete mess.
If ITV ever get their hands on Big Brother I think we can not only say goodbye to the programme but goodbye to reality TV in general.

Amen to that - it's something they've always done well, but obviously it didn't make as much money as Charles Allen sees sufficient to line his pockets.
